Thats right I am turning to Graphic novels and audiobooks to hit my 52 books for they year ... let try and avoid this situation in 2026 !

This is quite "heady" for a Christmas read but its so so good.

I need to be reading more Highsmith. These short stories are intense.

This book : the perfect mix of surgical derring-do and a devastating emotional story told with care. It’s brilliant when scientists or doctors can write this well.

This book is devastating and so good

Maybe more books in translation is what I need …
