I've read a lot of really bad books recently and I thought this one would cure that streak until I got to the last novella and just could not stand it anymore. The first 2/3 were good though.

Welp. I got played. I thought this series was over before I started reading it, and now I'm stuck halfway through an apparent five book(?!) saga.

The writing is.... meh.... but it just has that "it factor" where I still can't abandon the story.

Where my hyper-independent girlies at??? Come read this book and scream like me!!

If I'd have known part of this book is set where I'm from, I might have read it sooner!
