Hello 2017.

Ahhh I'm backl from my holidays. Tackled London, Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge in one trip. I am EXHAUSTED. MY flight back had a delay of over three miserable hours. Guess what I'm doing now? Yup - filing my compensation form. Thanks European Court of Justice lol. Next up: writing, writing, writing, writing and oh yeah, writing. Happy Holidays everyone!

God. I'm about to send the first chapters of my book to a betareader and I feel sick to my stomach, like I might throw up, lol! I'm going to be a mess on release date.

I'm a "Rater", I never write reviews. But I know how important reviews are for authors so I'm trying to write more of them. I find myself repeating the same phrases over and over again though: well written, good plot, well rounded charaters. I wish I could write cool and funny reviews like some of you, lol! Oh well, practice makes perfect (or at least: practice makes you not suck as much as you do right now).

I met this guy in the train to Amsterdam today. Total lost cause but I gave him my number just for the hilarious/idiotic things he say. E.g. "I'm handsome so I can afford to have some issues." Who talks like that? Lol. He's going to get his own folder on my writing app, you never know, he might come in handy, lol.

I live in the Netherlands. I went to Harlequin.nl website today and a lot of the books written by Brenda Jackson that usually have a black couple on the cover now feature white pairings. It was disheartening. I know lots of black ladies have no trouble buying romance novels starring white heroes and heroines. For some reason romance featuring a non-white cast are only targetted to certain groups. #IWasBummed

“What’s wrong with my FUCKING ATTITUDE?”"

I wouldn't have lived very long if I ever dared cuss at my parents, lol. Bit of a turn off.

Two of the characters in this are called Ben and Jerry. And everytime I read their names I get a craving for ice cream. Not good. He.
