The Three (The Three, #1)
This book is extremely intriguing and interesting and deals with a church that accuses the surving children of four plane crashes in one day as the four horsemen and harbingers of the apocalypse. This accusation has caused a lot of split in the nation and it will be very interesting to see how it all plays out in the end.

Johnny's death is extremely sad. Dally, the strongest and head of the group couldn't even cope with it and got himself killed. That shows the horrible effect of his passing. Very sad event.

I'd hate for Johnny and Ponyboy to be punished for self defense when it's obvious that the Socs attacked them first. Especially since they risked their lives to save the kids from the burning church shows really how innocent they are. Darry and Pony's relationship reminds me of the father and son relationship in the movie with Robert De Niro A Bronx Tale.

The Socs and Greasers are just like two gangs. They both have their differences but in just the same amount of ways they are very similar as well. They wouldn't exist without each other even if they hate each other.

Dally is the wild kid of the gang. So far him, Pony and Soda are my favorites but his wild acts add a lot of flavor to the story.

The gang is introduced and so far they all are pretty complimentary of each other. Even though only Darry, Soda, and Ponyboy are real brothers they all treat each other like brothers.

I wonder why the author doesn't give us the parent's real names instead of just Ma and Pa. They are some of the biggest characters in this story.

The setting of this book is also set in a very hard time in the racist south. I love how they continue to love Ethorne even though he's black and they aren't.

I think Pa's character is very arrogant but yet somehow at the same time he's very humble. He's sure of himself but doesn't brag or boast either. Him and Ma fit very well together and hopefully they don't let the troubles take them apart.

Dogland is very interesting. The kids are all good but at times can be knuckleheads. I love the fact that Mis Delyon and Ethorne had the chance to save Digger.

Dogland is a story about a family who has moved and is looking for some sort of business. They all love dogs so they figure why not start a dogland near their new house. So far so good.

This book is hilarious. It's a perfect blend of humor and reality. It's very honest and deals with real world problems but also hooks you in with great humor. Very addictive.

Point Blank (Alex Rider #2)
Alex is coming very close to figuring out who killed the two billionares and his sources are definitely leading to the right path to finding the killers. I predict that when Harry find the killers he'll discover why they did so immediately and it will open up a bunch of new questions and an entire new investigation.

Alex is very brave for trying to finish what his uncle began. He can die doing this but he's determined to bring justice to all involved, that takes a lot of courage.

Why does Alex follow in the path of his uncle if this same program got him killed. It makes me wonder what he's really out to do.

wonder what would happen to Alex if he was caught in a mission to set up the murders of the billionares. I believe if they didn't kill him they would make him talk and give up the secrets of M16.
