I am currently working on another Horsey Historical Fiction titled "Dobbin and the Girl Who Loved Him." It is the story of a pit pony in the coal mines of Wales. I have finished my research and have started writing! I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I am home from my wonderful trip to Florida and back to work! First on the agenda is to autograph and package book orders that came in from the website while I was gone. Went to Orlando last weekend for the President's Book Award Ceremony at which "The Stallion and His Peculiar Boy" was awarded the silver medal for Young Adult Fiction. I'm so proud of Witez and Teodor!

As you can see, I now have the final cover for "Finding Fionn - Inspired by the Kidnapping of the Irish Racehorse Shergar." I love the cover...I hope you do, too!

"The Stallion and His Peculiar Boy" received the Silver Medal from the international book award competition, "The President's Award" sponsored by the Florida Authors and Publishers Association. I was given the medal on Saturday, August 5th in Orlando at the fun awards banquet.
