This was a fun, fast read. A single mother hometown girl is offered a Pretty Woman-style deal to act as the local mogul’s girlfriend while he’s up for a promotion. The story has been done before, but the dialogue was snappy, the side characters were fun. I liked how therapy was integrated as a healthy way of making better relationships with family and that the depiction of her 13yo boy and his struggles felt true.

Beautifully written. With the exception of the scene with the statue in the park, story felt very real and characters were recognizable. Enjoyed the descriptions of Dublin, Amsterdam and New York, and the different inhabitants.
