I’m not sure if this is a childrens book or not but it is absolutely so enjoyable to read. Easy language, interesting story.

I took this book out from the library to read more about the vernal equinox but I’ve ended up reading even more of the book because of the connections to ancient mythology and celestial events.

Slowly

I want to like this book, I do. The history of caffeine is interesting but I don’t care at all about the authors anecdotes or “memoir” sections about going off of coffee.

So far very interesting with decent references.

So far a tedious look into different Native American spirit clans.

A little boring but also thought provoking. I would rather read the author of the books he references in the opium section tbh

Hard start for me. I liked one of her other books but iirc it wasn’t that uplifting and I need something happier right now. Will revisit after I finish my other two books.

So far light and a little silly. I’m very much enjoying this!

Going slowly but that’s just because I started another book that is taking my breath away

I’m surprised that it is so easy to read

I haven’t really gotten into this yet because I might just be too old for YA? I don’t know what’s happening. I like it, I just haven’t gotten the read the book until 3am spark for it.

Hmmm I don’t know if I’m going to be able to finish this one. I do love a bravo/book crossover and apparently there is not a ghost writer here but it’s not great so far

I love the author but this book is tough. I hate reading from so many different perspectives.
