I did not finish this book. It started off good and what's not to like - history, time travel, ... It morphed into some sort of romantic adventure with dinosaurs. I was bored and stopped reading half way through. Disappointing as I thought I had discovered a new series.

This was o.k. Alot of filler. It could have been a journal article or perhaps two. One about fascism in Britain and another about Unity Mitford.

Rereading these excellent stories.

I am finding this book interesting though I am annoyed that the author didn't check her "historical" info more accurately. She has Nellie listening to Hound Dog by Elvis Presley in July 1955 while this song was not released until the following year - July 1956. Unless this somehow comes back into the plot - sloppy editing.

I just started this book and do not remember reading it - though I gave it 4 stars and posted a review. Bizarre. I will read a few more pages and see I remember anything.

This was a typical Joanna Trollope - my favorite holiday read. Three stars.

I am rereading a favorite author (need something cheerful after See What I Have Done). An Academic Question is the only book by Barbara Pym I have only read once. Last time I only gave it 2 stars. Let's see how I feel after rereading.
