I loved this book. Because I read it in Spanish I had to go slow therefore I really got into the story. Some said “nothing happens” but it’s a saga and perfectly shows the resilience of humans especially a family.

Had to take a break. Memories too fresh.

Well so far not impressed. He’s bragging about knowing that “Ontology recapitulates phylogeny”. Incorrect. It is ontogeny that recapitulates phylogeny. Sheesh.
