Now I remember why I don't read stream-of-consciousness kinds of books.... I know I'm supposed to like this, but I just am so bored.

I know this is supposed to be a classic gothic novel filled with suspense and whatnot, but it is so boring.... get to it already! Maybe my problem is that all of the people in the book are horrible at this point and I sometimes have trouble liking horrible, petty characters, especially when they haven't been very well created.
