The writing isn't quite as smooth as the first book and definitely written more in the fiction style, but good nonetheless. Its a fictional story interwoven with truths that many had to endure and proving to be nearly as powerful as any biographical story.

Loving the book so far. I'm really enjoying the author's style of writing, effortlessly pulling the reader into the story without needing to over, describe each setting. I don't typically cry when I read but already this book got to me. Looking forward to continuing this read.
