I just finished The Goblin King (Shadowlands Book 1) and gave it 2 stars.

Must read the book before the movie.

Officially started today. I should NOT have started this book. Now I SHOULD call into work!

Ever stop reading on purpose? This is what has happened to me as I near the end of this book. With the third installment not due out until 2013, I am digging my heels kicking and screaming hanging onto my relationship with a fictitious character whose journey I have adopted as my own. For whom I cheer and mourn within the stanzas of stormy ballad.

Intelligent. Creative imagery .... " lost his flock .... Taking a rock for a walk ... Pulling a memory from a box ... " these are but a few teasers to the deceptive chess game King Jorg is playing. Love it!

Second only to good hygiene and the Lord's prayer, Jorg makes ruthless cunning and murderous revenge attributes in only the noblest of antiheroes ! Brilliant !

Didn't want it to end. So I bought book 2 when I approached the final ten pages!
