apparently i read this book 8 years ago and gave it 5 stars at the age of 16…. let’s see how it holds up. none of this is ringing a bell

guys i’m scared…

i have run out of audiobook hours for the month. future vibha when u revisit: it’s fine so far and they have not gotten lesbian but they DID get boy gay and ur feeling like that’s good enough for now. as far as actual plot goes you will pick it up just fine i don’t need to remind you.

fingers crossed this gets lesbian…

all this to follow his girlfriend to college…. never a good idea percy

i’m regressing

why are these post independence indian women so obsessed with shakespeare??? like guys…. there are more pressing matters here…. why are we brushing over the fact that our main character cured someone dying from a late stage abortion (that SHE administered) with chamomile and mint??? that is a twinings bag. who is this for??? i’m eating it up.

“for the moment, it’s very nice to all be squeezed in this one small room, my sun-tender skin chafing against my clothes, my wild and perverse heart unknown.”

i’m in europe. let’s hope that helps me grasp this story better

i know this is fiction but it is all the sacklers fault once again!!

pls…. break up with your boyfriend and date the sex worker or be single this is infuriating i say!!!

oh man….. this is so good but so sad

why are we learning about this random rich woman’s dad’s past 😭😭 emily what is ur endgame here

“City Girl”?? oh boy……

I’m reading this book because A) caroline o'donoghue said it’s good B) bc it’s lesbian obviously. I am also here to note that i think it’s funny that this book opens with the most generic muna lyrics possible.

as someone who’s consistently having home invasion nightmares, this is not a wise read for me every night before bed. but alas

thank you nan goldin i love your work 🙏❤️💌 I’m so sorry the sacklers fucked you over
