A lot of these stories are very intense, but very worthy of putting out there. It’s been helping me to reflect on what being faithful to Jesus looks like where I’m at.

Good book so far. This old man is a grump, but also his passive aggressiveness can be funny. Looking forward to seeing how his character develops.

This book is so good. There’s all these little cliffhangers throughout and all the pieces seem to be coming together. This octopus is such an intriguing character.

“So many people live with unhappy circumstances, and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation, because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality, nothing is more more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future.”
