The cover copy says “mere months after getting married” and the first page of the book says “we’ve been married two years”. Didn’t anyone involved in writing and publishing this book read that and notice a problem?

I knew some stuff was allowed through the cracks with the shuttle program that allowed Challenger’s disaster to happen but omg I had no idea it was so pervasive… The amount of foreshadowing of a disaster with the things the engineers were finding is just….those people didn’t have to die.

A HALF LITER of fluids to a several week old PUPPY?? Are we trying to save it or kill it? Nooooo!!!! Try a fraction of that! Omg…

Assuming this book is supposed to take place in 2022ish, having been published in early 2023, and the MC is just turned 30... Just how old was her mother when she had her if she was two during the Holocaust?? No. Just no.

Omg the daughter…I want to finish this book, I do. But the DAUGHTER.

Omg the daughter is obnoxious!!! She acts like a three year old and i just want to punch her. She's immature and rude and disrespectful to her mother and has no self control and just ugh! Just her character is making me consider sending this to my DNF "pile".

Why, are, there, commas, everywhere? I know I do some comma splicing when I write, but nothing like this. Holy crow.

So, many extra, commas, in not, the right places. Please, stop with the extra, commas. Holy, crap.

Oi the tense changes mid sentence… And the missing/extra/misplaced words. Please with an editor!!!

Please please please learn the difference between REIGN and REIN. And that you cannot use THEN when you mean THAN. Please.

I’ve only just started this one (chapter 2) and there are SO MANY TYPOS and extra words and missing words...gah. So annoying.

Chapter 4...I thought his name was Nathaniel? All book 7. Now it’s Nathan...?

The agents knew something before they were told it and then were shocked when they were told...a couple chapters later. And the ME and his history...told twice...or three times? Not sure. But the agents keep being surprised by it. Annoying

This narrator has basically two voices: one female and one ragged female (aka, male). Really obnoxious in my opinion. Wishing I was reading this instead of listening to it. Will need to avoid her in the future if possible.

I don’t get the draw between the H and h. He’s a possessive jealous jerk and she’s ok with it? And keeps coming back?? Ew. Can’t finish this.

Annoying things editor/whomever missed. Wrong tenses, for example, mid sentence. The latest issue: “Sean had always be slightly in awe of JT Caruso.” I know mistakes make it through but that one I would’ve thought would be caught.

“...pressure in his shoulder. The pain of glass in front of him...” What?? Oh, for want of a copy-editor...

Rereading so I can read book two! (and three!)

Why did the guy's name change? Grr.
