Getting a little PTSD from this book. The gruff captain just told the main character “move that pile of rocks to over there while I decide where I want that pile of rocks”……….it’s like growing up with my father all over again.

Beginning Chapter 37 “The Last Battle”. An almost 200 page behemoth of a chapter😳😳😭

I’ve been waiting since August for this to get here👍🏼❤️

Page 170………still looking for some semblance of a plot. It’s currently “look at what is happening in the daily life of these 3 people….. but also VIKING STUFF RAWRRRRRRR”

This book has become a suffer-fest

DNF on page 50. The book started off deep in lore and I had no idea what any of it meant. Which made for a slog. Couldn’t chance the next 400 pages being the same slog.

This book is currently a “grind it out” scenario.
