curious how an eight year old looked after a violent high care needs patient? For eight years. With no technical training, support or respite care. How did he grow up normally? And what about for e.g the sepsis from her inevitable urinary tact and similar infections? How did she avoid aspiration pneumonia and other alcohol related injuries? How did he work and stop her wandering? Nursing! So easy a child could do it!

This book is a bit of a disappointment. Duckworth seems to spend lots of time looking at people in sporting teams who have simple goals like win games

IDK, they've been travelling forever, trying to be good buddist monks, and as soon as Sanzang is asleep, they go off, chuck some Taoist gods into a septic tank and get their followers to drink their piss. They seem to be getting worse instead of better. And Sanzang is just a dummy.

Picking up all the simularities between the book and the very enjoyable recent film journey to the west - the demons strike back.
just finished the bit about the female impersonator skellington spirit. Also, Tripitaka is turning out to be a bit of a dick at times.
