i do think this book is written well but i keep hoping it wouldn't lump the entire europe together. like..you can't tell me like us Nordics have anything in common with like, Mediterranean countries. Especially in regards to history. Like afaik Nordics didn't keep slaves, esp during chattel slavery. 🤷

liked the first story, didn't really care for the second.. the ending just makes it feel a little, eh, easy. Like of course life on the other side will not turn out perfect and yet somehow its fine to stay on a dying planet then.
