Had to return to the library before finishing

I can’t get past the female narrator in this book, she reads so monotone and it makes it boring to listen to. Her voice just made this feel like a teenage melodrama. I’m going to try this book again later I’ll try reading it myself.

It’s really hard to focus on this one, I’m finding the further I get the more I’m losing interest. It’s a sweet girl meets boy but the in between scenes are boring and the action is over way to quick. Granted it’s not a normal boy meets girl because girl is a necromancer and boy is a ghost but….
