Okay, yep…after reading the summary just now while marking as Currently Reading, I know where this is going, or at least with whom. But I was kinda hoping for that, so…*shrug*

Very Knives Out-level rich people/family drama - without the murder mystery aspect, though there is a death - and I am here for it.

This reminds me of the first time I read Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas after loving her histroms, which is to say I fucking love it and I already want more.

Needed a palate cleanser after the murder books…and the accompanying playlist is jammin’ lol

OMG these two, so wise beyond their years. And I’m so afraid for them.

I read as I listened to the last two books, so I’m kinda sad I can’t HEAR Simon as he says “Hello, Emma,” in that creepy AF voice the narrator used for him.

my all-time favorite comfort read

I kept perusing my Kindle app, not knowing what to read next and so not reading at all. This went on for several days. Until last night when I saw that the book I had just recently added to my TBR was on KU. On a whim, I decided to start it, and while it's no literary genius, it's fun, and that's apparently just what I needed...

I’m listening while I read, and the audio is very Aussie while the ebook is very much…not. How odd? Like, words have been changed for sure. I love Aussie books…why not just leave it like that?

This had potential, but the FMC is almost TOO sunshiney? And the near-constant brand-name dropping is really taking me out of the story...

Started this cause my library copy is due back soon, but I'm kinda bored. Someone tell me this gets better.
