Holy fuck are the terms “my dear” and “darling” so god darn overused in this book. It’s so irritating. Why can’t we just have a conversation without this old woman using words of endearment. Jesus Christ

I want to cry over this book and I’m not even halfway through.....

Finally doing a re-read so I can continue on with the rest of this series!

re-reading this two years later (my first time reading it was as an ebook but I finally have the first three volumes in physical copies so I’m hyped)
