I get it. He is a teenager. He is in mourning. But he is a horrible friend, a selfish person (like all teenagers must), capricious and just unlikeable. This is a testament of Adam Silvera’s good work because I loved More Happy Than Not, but with this one, though the story is very nice, the main character is just awful.

Grieving teenagers, why did I expect anything different ? I really don’t like Griffin. I think it’s beacuse I’m older now. I dunno. Maybe in my teens or early twenties I would’ve liked him better. He’s really getting on my nerves.

Why is this book much more emotional than I expected ???
I love The Honeys, I love how the mystery surrounding them has been slowly incorporated to the story. I hate (this is brilliant) that Mars is constantly “forgetting” important information about what is going on in the Camp.

I am loving this book. It’s just a subtle mystery filled with grief and beautiful writing.

Okay. Westlake’s journal is TOP NOTCH !! The best part of the book so far. It got me really excited for the rest of it. I only wish I hadn’t spoiled myself by looking at the names of the parts of the book, but still the Fig Men reveal gave me goosebumps

The ‘Gets is a Mcguffin. I’m sure Clay was experimenting on the other scientists. Almost halfway through and it hasn’t been that bad. But I’m sure things are about to get awful for the characters.

It’s been interesting but sloooooww. Now it’s starting to pick up the pace. I’m so intrigued !

I don’t know how I feel about this one. It took a path I wasn’t expecting. Nothing scary or creepy so far

I’m almost done. I just needed to come and say it’s very nice and heartwarming. Not scary at all but very creepy.
I’m a little bit disappointed that Whisper hasn’t really been the ‘evil force’ it’s painted to be. I hope book 3 expands upon that, ‘cause all he’s been in this book is scared of sister. Like (????) why? Yes she’s terrible, but even she says he is more of a threat so ????

This one’s action PACKED !

I though The Messy Man was supposed to be the big bad of this series, but he doesn’t seem to do much other than be afraid of Sister and keep Peter at bay (?) - this book has been so good btw
