Ok so this is definitely slow as hell and trying to keep track of all the characters and places while listening to the audiobook is a bit of a nightmare...but as someone whose favorite aspects of SFF are to the world building and magic system, this is definitely a treat! Ig it's a good thing I like world building details so much bc that's what's most of the past 23 hours of audiobook have been😭

Having the main character be stated as 17 and then going on to describe her hookups and relationship w an older woman (Although it's not really clear to me how old Cura is supposed to be) is certainly a choice...Many eyebrow raising Lesbian Written By a Man moments.

Finally an author who sees Morrissey, /tttt, and mumsnet for the horror fuel that they are🤫

Loving this so far but my loan on libby lapsed and now I'm gonna have to wait 10 weeks to get it back and finish it😭😭
