i am inconsolable rn. rip priscilla “to my daughter aurelia” this shit got me all the way fucked up. wasn’t expecting to be so sad from the familial dynamics/aspect. really well written though.

When he was 16? so there’s logically and physically no possible way he could still be a teenager in 2018?… why would rick bring up a decade defining real life thing? bruh :/

finished this a few days ago, quite cute, a bit less cringe than other Hazelwood books i’ve consumed. however the inconsistency of the main character made it difficult to enjoy at times. at first she was hilarious and snarky (in her own mind) and I thought those traits would not only persist but thrive and shine once she felt safe to be herself. but she just got childish and bland at the book forged on.
