This book is well written but just excruciating given the times we live in.

This book made me realize the true depth of my loathing of enemies to lovers vibes. Ooh, sociopathic bad girls are so compelling ! - not. I will finish this but it is, thus far, digressive, prolix, short on plot, and very YA feeling. Maybe it’ll turn a corner at some point.

This is a re read - I read it in 2021, realized there’s a sequel, and wanted to bring myself back up to speed

This book, as expected, is a hard road. I’ll get through it but it won’t be fast.
