Mad respect for Gregory. This is research of great depth, efficiently smooth writing, intersectional context, and judicious conclusions worthy of your time. Yes, it’s long and might be a bit of a grind; yes, there’s less detail the farther back in history because patriarchy. But that’s what audio is for.

So far, I’m just incredibly frustrated with how limited the photos are. The text is wonderfully researched and I’m excited to dive in, but it seems particularly MEAN to describe the majority of the swatches without showing them, especially after waxing poetic about how bursting and beautiful the scrapbook is. As for the ones that are mentioned—not a single annotation is given to indicate which is which…why?!
