Author’s goal with this book is to make study tools taught in seminaries, accessible to all for deep Bible study (totally paraphrased on my part). Heading into Ch. 9, I see that coming together. Ch. 6’s power of community “it’s a new concept to read God’s word on our own …it’s important to remember that the Bible was originally intended for public conviction rather than personal consumption.” So Good!

Deciding to DNF this one. The book is well written, but I found my mind drifting so much in this story - I believe it was a good book - but at the wrong time moment being such a mood reader. May pick it up in the future.

Only one chapter in, and feeling so hopeful this will be a really impactful read. It has a different tone than I was expecting (in a good way). Faith has an authentic and engaging voice that makes me want to keep going.

This is SO good. It’s all I can do to savor a little bit each day. I think it’s a better way to read and absorb the wisdom. It feels like having a beautiful conversation with a close friend. Such encouragement and authentic storytelling! Also, you can’t beat the bonus of such glorious artwork throughout!
