Already this book shows it’s age when the narrator says her skin has gone as yellow as a chinaman’s. Oops.

Am surprised a year has already passed in the story, it kinda jumped ahead outta nowhere

Also, wtf is a 28 year old guy doing at a teenage party?

Having lots of thoughts about this book. It’s so relevant to current events, to social media and victim blaming.

So far so good though.

Oh my, this has gotten intense.

I’m at the part where Emma discovers what happened to her at the party. On social media someone commented “Looks like Nirvana’s ‘Rape Me’ is the song of the night.”

Wow, Emma is a bad person. But I think I know what’s coming for her and I sure don’t want that.

Her mom is a piece of work too

I don’t like how this audiobook has music in random places

I’m a little disappointed that Shrek isn’t on Quinn’s list of rewatchable movies

Good so far but this is too long and I don’t know if I will finish it before it’s due

So far this is very bittersweet.

It’s actually a bit painful when CeeCee has to leave behind most of her books when she moves to Georgia, and worse still when she has to leave her elderly neighbor friend.

Omg that opening line of the prologue... I’m hooked

I really like the diverse cast of characters and how naturally their differences are presented. Also, the world-building is really well done without being too verbose.
