Basically after they took over the Yamaro, they sent a small team down to the ground. then all hell broke lose and a riot started and Nathan and his crew got a lift in the prime minister's private airecraft to his bunker, where they wait for the rioting to calm down. So far i'm liking it still. Good startout!

I didn't really read all that much tonight because I am really super tired, but I did... They basically went up to the asteroid and parked their ship, the Aurora, in it. Then nothing else of any real significance happened yet... Still like it though. just tired right now. NIght.

They've arrived in the Darvano system, mainly the Corinair part, because it's an industrialized planet and they can repair the Aurora there, AND because they're hiding in an asteroid that the rebels mined out. I really do love this. All the sciencey stuff mixed with the space stuff is soo fun!

So in love with this series right now! I love the whole stuck in space thing. They're trying to get back to Earth, but can't, so instead they're trying to learn about the place they are stuck in, the Pentarus Cluster. It's a bunch of star systems that are really close and really advanced, and so far it looks like the Aurora might get involved in whats going on in the Cluster.

The Aurora just got left a huge battle after jumping too far, and now they are stranded in the middle of a new cluster, where they have to find out how to get back to Earth. So far, I REALLY love this series, cause it's all about space travel and it kinda geeks me out OMG I love it.

Robert died from a wound he got while hunting boar. Joffrey was made the king, and somehow I can't help but feel that it was all a setup in some way... Mainly because as soon as Joffrey got to the throne, he instantly wanted all of the Starks captured or killed. Meanwhile on the Wall, encounters with these "things" called the Othors are becoming more common. They seem to be some kind of undead creature or something.

Oh, I forgot to mention two things yesterday. One, Bran is no longer incapacitated, and two, Tyrion got put in a cell for supposed murder. But in this part Tyrion got out and made "friends" with the local clans. Daenerys ate a raw stallion's heart, which I don't know how to respond to really... Go for it I guess... The best part though was that Viserys got molten gold poured over him, Just like he deserved!

Sorry, I didn't do any updates this weekend because we went to New Hampshire and I left my bloody book at home... Anyway, Bran talked to a crow, and Jon left to work on the Wall, and a lot of other stuff happened. Oh, and did I mention that there are WAY TO MANY CHARACTERS TO KEEP TRACK OF?!?!?!?!?!? Gah, I can barely get all the main characters right, but the other ones... But I do really like it so far.

Last night I didn't do an update because I left my book at school. So a lot happened in this part. Bran was climbing and accidentally spied on Jaime and Cersei having incest. He was discovered and pushed off the side of the castle by Jaime. Also Daenerys was wedded to Khal Drogo, the leader of the Dothraki. I thought that was a little weird, since they both don't know any of the others' language... And I like Tyrion.

There are WAY to many characters in this book. You meet like 12 in the first bloody chapter... You meet Bran Stark, Eddard Stark, John Snow, Robb Stark, Theon Grayjoy, Jory Cassel, Hullen, Harwin, and Ser Rodrik. Ad in the second chapter you meet even
MORE bloody characters... SO MANY BLOODY CHARACTERS... Oh, and all of Eddard's children get direwolf pups, which is their house sigil.. huh... Way too many events...

I really liked how the book started off with Will and Gared feeling an uneasiness in the forest, and Ser Waymar Royce couldn't, and because of that, Ser Warmar died by mysterious things the book only refers to as "Watchers" Their blades though... They sound quite scary and haunting. I wouldn't want to go up against one, that's for sure... ( I decided to only read the prologue tonight.

The Klin have figured out about Adam's crew leaving Earth and heading into the Fringe, but they seem to have taken it as part of their plan... Weird. Anyway, so have the Jurians, and they don't like it. But the humans are a lot stronger than the alien races in the Fringe, cause Earth's Gravity is a lot heavier than most, so the humans are easily able to crush whatever resistance has gone against them yet...

40 miles from Boston, McVries asks Garraty for a story, so he tells one. McVries seems pleased with it, and collapses. He gets shot moments later. 2 left. By 8:00 PM they were walking through Danvers, and Garraty was about to give up, when suddenly Stebbins died of exhaustion. Garraty had won. But he was delusional, and saw the Major congratulating him as a new person to out-walk, so he started running. The End.

It's the 5th day of their Walk now. Garraty was so gone it took him a huge effort to just keep going, let alone eat, but Stebbins was somehow still going fine... Garraty and McVries ask about Stebbins, who relents, telling them he is the Major's illegitimate son. 2 got shot. 7 left. They crossed into Massachusetts. Bill and Rattigan got shot shortly after. 5 left. Garraty started to cry. Baker got shot then...

They passed Portland, and 6 got shot. 19 left. Garraty starts to feel worse than ever. He talks with Abraham about Scramm. Parker goes crazy and attacked the halftrack, killing a soldier before being shot. 17 left. Later Wyman got shot. 14 left. They are now 8 miles from New Hampshire. Abraham began to cough, and they entered New Hampshire, where they got another salute. Then 4 more got shot, and Abraham. 9 left.

Garraty woke up, and has a huge migraine, and 8 got shot. 26 left. Garraty was talking to Stebbins when his shoes came apart, so he took them off. It started raining. Another got shot. 25 left. And word is that a boy up front has appendicitis. They crossed into Freeport, and Garraty saw Jan, his girlfriend, and went crazy. He was stopped by McVries though.

Must be f****** hard to do that, jeez...

They passed through Augusta with little emotion left, and the biggest crowd yet. 2 got shot. 35 left. Garraty falls back to talk with Barkovitch, who's limping a bit, but finds that he's still going strong and slightly crazy. A while later Barkovitch went crazy and got shot. 34 left. They walked on in silence, and Garraty drifted off to semi sleep.

I really wasn't expecting Barkovitch to die so soon, but oh well.

Abraham and Baker are playing heads or tails with a coin. Then Garraty screamed about his leg, stopped to massage it, taking 3 warnings. Just as the safeties were coming off, he got back up. He and McVries talked about what they did when they knew they were gonna be in the Walk. Then 3 kids got shot. 38 left. They talked about being begged not to go. Another got shot. 37 left. A dog ran out and got shot too.

2 more got shot in the night. 43 left. Barkovitch tries to tell Garraty that they got off on the wrong foot, but I get the feeling he isn't buying it. Then Scramm and Mike decided that they were down, and sat down and got shot. 41 left. They walk went on solemnly, nobody spoke for a long time.

What a sad thing, that they just felt down so they ended it...

They've joined the turnpike now, and there's talk of a 300-gun salute for the ones that are left, and talk of saluting back with raspberries.A little while later, it happened, although it was kinda pitiful... Garraty drifted off again, then got a warning for taking a crap. They kept walking, the crowds getting thicker and thicker as they went.

Now WHY would they have an event like this??? God****...

It continued to drizzle for awhile, and 4 more got shot. 49 left. Garraty has a huge pain in his arches. Garraty then talks with Stebbins about Olson. 3 more got shot entering Oldtown. 46 left. Then Olson snapped HARD. He climbed the halftrack and yanked a gun from one of the soldiers. He got shot multiple times and still kept going... He almost killed them. It took a lot of bullets to kill him. 45 left.

They've been walking for 115 miles now, and for a long time, no one had been shot. Then at noon, 6 kids got shot. 56 left. Later, Percy's mom came looking for him and fighting the cops trying to hold her back. Scramm got a cold, and another kid got shot. 55 left. Then a man gave them watermelons, and was tackled by cops, another got shot. 54 left. Then a thunderstorm came it hailed hard. Jensen got shot. 53 left...

As they reached the 100-mile point, 2 more got shot. 64 left. As they were walking through the biggest crowd yet, another got shot, hushing the crowd. 63 left. A kid fell down and the halftrack ran over him. 62 left. Garraty and McVries talk about where they're from, what they're lives were like. They continue on to talk about why they joined the Long Walk, and Garraty replies that he doesn't know.

Garraty talks to a kid named Scramm, who had apparently dropped out of high school and married a girl named Cathy, and they bad a baby, even though he was only 14... Wtf... Then a kid started convulsing. He was shot. 78 left. Pearson got blue balls and got shot. 77 left. Harkness finally got shot. 76 left. They talk about Baker's Uncle. Percy got shot. 75 left. 9 more kids got shot. 66 left.
