Am reading this series again for the third time and am still taking away things from it. Currently on volume six. And love it more with every revisit.

Almost 100 paged in and I’m struggling. 4 stars how? Going to quit it I think.

Slow going this one

Uphill struggle to read this one. 44 pages in and we're still on the same subject of establishing how the twins have to be the same in their mothers eyes. The irony. But not good irony.

So this was obviously catalogued wrong at my library. Found this on the adult fiction shelf when clearly it's intended audience is for kids. But who cares - it's still bloody fantastic so far!

Not something to gulp. Appreciate this one in sips.

I love this series. A lot. The only flaw I have is with Lila- who tried just a little too hard to be tough. It's like the author tried a little too hard

This started off interesting but then started to get really weird. I LOVE weird - but sometimes it's just too much. I'm going to finish only because I'm this committed with 394 pages behind me. I'll be canceling my hold on book 2.

So- murder mysteries are not my thing. It's a writer's way of saying look how smart I am that I can make gruesome murders happen by a brilliant con (which they never are) and be solved by a smarter cop(which some might be). They step no you along- throw in twists to make you say - never saw that coming! When all along you knew it would.
Sigh- not a fan.
