Well written, but not exactly what I expected. It reminds me Lovercraft's stories: this is not a problem but I thought it was another kind of novel.

I'm really sorry about this book. I like vampire and story full of action but honestly the author sometimes seems to forget who is the main character. I've read pages and pages about a secondary character, just to tell that vampires are coming back! And Max? Often he seems a sort of caricature of himself.

Complex, perhaps too complex for me. First chapters are really boring. Everything happens too fast. The plot seems to be interesting and I really love shifters but... for the moment this book seems to be "a good idea, bad developped"

Wow. This is the best book of WInter Renshaw. It could be a five super stars, it depends to the end... I'm not so sure we could really have an HEA...

Current state: humiliated, angry and frightened. Exactly what I expected from a Dark Romance. Well done, now go on.

I'm sorry, probably Chick Lit isn't suitable for me, I don't know. The fact is that I was bored. Penny Reid's writing is not for me. I want to give it another chance. I'll try to read it farther ahead to consider if I would change my first impression.

honestly this book surprised me. Well-written, an exciting story-line full of twists and turns, two amazing characters... is also a stand-alone because the other 3 books of the series are about other characters. This is a must to read book! Never miss it! It's also free

I'm captivated by this novel. My heart has missed a beat when finally Ryker calls her "Zoe".

Every author has a particular style. M.S. Brown is imaginative. She is a great story teller. Just to give you an idea: "Everything I had fought for. Everyone I had love. Gone. (...) My homewas burning into embers and ash. Along with my heart". Pure poetry... at least for me.

I don't why but I'm a bit puzzled. The characters are amazing, the writing is good, but something is wrong with the plot. If you are a guy accused of raping and struggling are you really able to think about sex? You risk jail and you are worry about your cock? I'm really curious to read how it ends. FOr the moment 3,5 stars because Jax is really an adorable smartass!

I'm laughing. Beckham King is arrogant. He thinks to be the King of the world, especially the feminine world. He's a one-night-lover and he is used to be surrounded by woman asking for more.
Odessa is a sweet girl. Her boyfriend asks her for a break in their relationship. Beckham is just a one-night lover, a distraction. But the King is the King, he can't accept to be used by a woman!

I'm a little bit perplexed. Is it really possible that in a little town where overyone knows what you do, you could keep so many secrets for 10 years? The plot is interesting but the characters act in a weird way. All friends, all suspicious, all liars...

A story with great potential, but I'm puzzled on how the plot goes on.
