Did I miss the plot??? Like what's the main goal? Is this book setting up for the second one?

It's taking me a while to get through this because I feel like I'm getting beat over the head with the knowledge of their bond. It's repeated over and over and over, I want to throw up.

How in the world is this book 500 pages?!!!!

The amount of times he uses the word 'bond' is annoying. Could make a drinking game out of it...

I freakin want a baby dragon. Didn't want one in Eragon, but the way Michael explains the relationship in here is so darn cute, it makes me want one.

Still loving the book. Wish someone would invent a way for me to read books while I slept, cus I don't want to put the book down!

Not half bad. Terrible title I think. Don't see how it represents the book.

I don't know what it is, but this book has it's hold on me. I can't stop thinking about it when I'm not reading it. Nothing really big is happening yet I want to continue reading.

Snoozefest. Tempted to watch spoiler videos about the book and move on. Really am not a fan of the Mistborn books. So boring.

Book is still good but I'm ready to be done with it, only because it's taken me so long to read it.

Took a day off from the book, and I'm mixing up the stories. That's the bad part about it being similar in theme and in the same place. Big question is...do I even care anymore??

Rereading so I can continue and finish the series. So far, it is as good as I remember. Love this book. So comfy!!

The second book has similar underlying themes as the first one. Annoying that the author couldn't come up with different ideas. May dnf if it comes too close to copying the first book.

It's still good, but I've read it for so long, I'm just ready to be done. Hate when I get this way. Kinda ruins the book for me.

Second book takes place in the same town. Trying to figure out what the time frame is between the first and second book. Will some of the characters in the first book make an appearance? Wish it was in a different town.

First book...4.5 stars. Enjoyed it but the ending felt a little rushed. Would have preferred the story to be a full book instead of 200 pages.

I'm surprised by this book. Since it's a YA book that I prob got back in 08, I thought at first I wouldn't like it. But I'm finding myself pulled to read it. Maybe it's how fast of a read it is. Idk but I'm amazed at how it's keeping my attention.

Think it may also be that it's not politics which is what most books are now, so a change is nice.

Why must work get in the way??????!!

I feel like this book is going to have an impact on me. Only 30 pages in, and I am enjoying it. The way he writes...his descriptions, is amazing. Already 4 stars from me.
