It’s sad to feel this bored. I’m mostly continuing because my edition is beautiful, but this book really isn’t for me, even though I had really enjoyed her other series, Letters of Enchantment.

Supposed to be scary, but the only thing terrifying here is how bored I am right now.

So far, the story has been interesting, though the pace is fairly slow. That said, the way overweight characters are portrayed bothers me. I know it’s coming from total assholes within the story, not the author, but it still leaves me with mixed feelings. I’ll keep reading, but for now, I remain somewhat skeptical.

I’m so grateful to the author for the chance to be an ARC reader! I’m beyond excited! Book one was such an incredible ride!
