This author is infuriating. Despite growing up on estates. She's not like the other poors!

Does the premise of this not read incredibly manipulative & violating to Kakeru. I have slightly outside of norm views on suicide anyway, so i might be coming from a slightly different baseline.

- outside the book this is a brilliant line. Where it crops up in the book (especially if you listen via audio) its blooming iconic. Literally just cracked up!

Pausing to emotionally regulate because I am both furious and devastated. The writing/format is excellent. If you're in the UK read it. Important especially as we're going for another round on austerity and ramping up xenophobia and tensions within the working class.
