First book I have read in a LOOONG time and I can't put it down!

I wasn't sure what to think about this book, but it's been a really good read. In fact, I have barely been able to put it down.

last update: I was initially struggling through the first 40 pages. The story line picked up at that point and I've barely been able to put the book down since. Such a sad story. I'm hoping for a good ending for the main character, Elisabeth

I was initially struggling through the first 40 pages. The story line picked at that point and I've barely been able to put the book down since. Such a sad story, I'm hoping for a good ending for the main character, Elisabeth.

I just can't get in to this one. I don't care for all the bible scripture reference and quote in a fiction read. Not my style. Will give it one more chapter to spark my interest, if it doesn't then moving on to something else.
