I cannot stop listening to this book. Legit hope it never ends. I love the narrator, I love the story, I love the characters, I love the witty repartee.

Ok I am sticking with it. At 67%. Thank goodness I got the audiobook though, I don't think I could have finished the print version. I am still at a loss in places but I am so invested in these people that are this point, I just have to know what happens.

I really do not understand what the egg is happening, and I'm 20% into this. Feeling really frustrated.

1/5/26: I am on the struggle bus with this and am considering a DNF. We shall see. There's a LOT of great books out there, do I really need to spend my time on this? 🤔

I'm using the audiobook and the narrator is just SO SO PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.
Also, my heart hurts with how beautiful this prose and story are. The perfect sensory mix and show vs tell. GD I love this author. 💕

Welp another Murata book, binged in a matter of hours...

Ok I am 26% of the way thru this and it is miles better than the first one. Still campy, but better written. Still needs editing, but the fight scenes are excellent so far. Stay tuned.

I friggin love Martha Wells.
I started this book, but then stopped and went back and reread Witch King because it's been a minute and I couldn't remember who was who. Now that I've refreshed my memory, I'm bingeing Queen Demon. 😊
