i actually can’t believe we’re playing yu-gi-oh right now

john green really is that good

everything is insane omg

LOL every time a novel takes place at one of my alma maters i am prepared to judge….has this author ever once seen ucla? time will tell

what a lovely book to have started reading in the days before an actual plague incident at a russian lab :)

lol

i’m not fully on board with shen qiao’s random miraculous healing? but i will trust the process

addicted to this series atp

i truly never know where any one book in this series is going to take me

after how bad the romantasy i just tried ended up being…i deserve a treat and sara raasch’s writing never lets me down

i went into this thinking the overall connecting thread of the narrative was going to be Azerbaijan but that is not correct; the connecting thread is just oil. i’m still enjoying this but not nearly as much as i would have been if the connecting thread HAD been Azerbaijan so

time to see what the hype is about

i need everyone to know that i am being soooooo incredibly brave reading this volume instead of just skipping it!!!!

i’m scared for my life

still slowly making my way through this one!

i’m not sure how well this is going to go for me with this writing style but i’m giving it a shot

giggling and kicking my feet

this is unfortunately actively not good and it took until about 15 pages ago for me to care even a little bit but i’m still reading so

checked this out from the library with zero idea what it was about but it’s definitely gripping me so far

i am once again asking why a romance novel about a fucking holiday prince is actively devastating me emotionally

continuing my re-read now that i’m back home with my physical book and GENUINELY this is my favorite of all timeeeeee i’m in PAIN

yeah i am reading the second book in this series and what about it

this is all over the place structurally but the writing is actually quite good on a sentence level which for some reason i didn’t expect

i feel like so far this book has just been like….exactly the plot you would expect if you read the synopsis

am i mentally capable of going through this again? we’ll check back in
