I was hoping for better writing. A lot of visual and narrative cliche. But the story is keeping me engaged, I definitely need to know what will happen here, so I will persevere.

Hard going but weirdly rewarding.

Entertaining with an impressive body count and insights into Astarte lore. The description of the Tyranid hive mind is excellent,

But the almost 100% male and shallow characters make the story lack dimension.

Heavy going for someone without a background in statistics.
