Strange book.
It felt like 2 separate books written by 2 different authors.
The sections about the birds living with her were brilliant. Easy to read and really interesting.
The more technical, historical and factual sections were really tough going for me.
The vocabulary and writing style were difficult.
The sentences were far too long with too many commas, making it hard to follow.
