DNF. DO NOT DO Audible version. Narration terrible. I’ll have to pick this up another time when I have the hardcopy.

DNF. Elif, it’s me, not you. This is the second book of yours I’ve tried to finish…maybe it’s just timing?

I didn’t finish this one in time before it was due back at the library. My first read by this author & I found this one to be boring & didn’t really care about the story or characters, so I wasn’t too motivated to finish. I could have been too preoccupied with other things so it might have been me? I’m going to try her other book, A River Runs Through It.

Even with all the literary award nominations for this debut author, I don’t think I can plow on.

*DNF. I read it 3/4th of the way & got bored. It peaked my interest initially because of Nirvana (as probably the majority readers) but there wasn’t much content on Kurt Cobain. The rest was on Indy/pop bands I never heard of. I might pick it back up later & my rating might change but for now- a flat 3 stars

DNF. I thought this was going to be a story from the spy, Virginia’s perspective but its not. It reads like a history book. I might pick it back up someday if I have to for a book club.
