One chapter in and I hate this book! 😂 The narrator’s breathless prose of run-on sentences is virtually impossible for me to comprehend. I’m going to give it one more chapter and then I’ll decide whether to DNF 🥴
The best bit so far was on pg11 describing a stew - ‘steaming like fresh horse dung on a cold morning’. How revolting! 🤢

G’morning friends 🤗 it’s Saturday and it’s CHOOSE A NEW BOOK DAY!!! 🥳 Does anyone else get ridiculously excited about the prospect of what to read next? It’s not even 6am and I took my first sip of coffee as was like ‘weeeee what shall I start reading today?’ 😂 I ♥️ the simple things in life 😌 well, it’s kind of simple because my options are….expansive 😯

Tom DeLonge from Blink-182 definitely wasn’t on my UFO bingo card! But then, it does explain their song ‘Aliens Exist’. Travis Barker, their drummer, said he used to get high and look for UFO’s 😂 I can’t take any of this seriously, at this stage, but it’s early days.. 🤣

Sooo tempted to finish this evening, but also want to save it for the morning because it is SENSATIONAL and it’ll be a tough goodbye! 😩
