Slowly getting to grips with Rabbie’s writing the more I’m reading it. He’s like a Scottish Eminem in that he can rhyme anything!

My husband says my attempt to read this with a Scottish accent is near on murderin the auld Scots dialect! 🤣 I’m an English Hampshire Hog, I cannae help masel! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep, Mr A is very readable indeed! Can see why he inspired a few other authors in his time.

I’m liking Aickman’s writing style, starting with a subtle, yet undeniably creepy first story!

I’ll have this chonky poetry book on the go for quite some time as it’s not one to sit and read from cover to cover, but to pick up on occasion when I’m in the mood. The old Scots language looks tricky!

I’d like to read more, or even finish this today, but my eyes have gone all weird caused by antihistamine tablets I’ve taken as I’ve had an allergic reaction to insect bites! 😵‍💫 How annoying!
