Saturday 3rd January- Full moon in Cancer 🌕

This is my first time reading TLOTR as one volume. I’ve read the trilogy as three volumes twice before and it is safe to say it is the greatest story ever told.

That’s ’January’ at Bottengoms Farm finished! I’ll be picking it up again in February. This is my 2026 monthly reading companion, a chapter a month for twelve months. A delightful reread that fills me with so much joy.

I love this book far too much! 😩 It’s been so long since I last read it and not a lot has happened at this point but I am so thoroughly, thoroughly entertained! 😂

You know what? I’m so tired of reading books that disappoint me this month that a hearty dose of Bateman is needed. So here I am, sat in my £749 reading chair from ‘Furnitureland’, wearing my £19.99 Nike tracky bottoms from ‘Sports Direct’, enjoying a cup of tea from the exclusive brand ‘Yorkshire Tea’ in my bone china cup with two Rich Tea biscuits by the bakery ‘McVities’. It’s raining out and I’m indoors. Nice.
