Right now Nisa the mother polar bear get's eaten by a killer whale when they were trying to get to a block of ice her two cubs kallik and taqqiq are safe on different blocks of ice when there mother gets taken by the whales. So now they are alone and stranded separated far away.

In my book The Stones Of Mourning Creek, Francies mom hit her head on a metal piece and died. While Francie was down at the creek feeling down a cotton head snake bit her ankle. She passed out and Rae came and fixed her up. Now Fracies trying to figure out what really happened to her mom.
