I'm loving catching up with old friends.

I do believe if I cannot read a significant number of pages today that I will have to set this book down and let it live in the TBR pile for awhile. This reading a page to a few pages at a time is just depressing..,

I love when the twisted ends start to come together but you know with this author nothing appears at it seems to be…

Simply put I love Heather Gudenkauf’s writing!

Reading this authors books is like spreading warm buttery toast… luxurious and smooth reading. Her work just flows and I just don’t want to put the book down. Might be turning pages all night.

I am loving this book so much!! The writing, the characters, the depth of emotion, the grittiness of the backstory... I would really like to stay here awhile but I cannot bring myself to stop reading.

I really enjoy this series however I'm finding myself tired of Miranda behaving without much regard for anyone else. Sometimes it seems like she views the world as her being the center of the universe and it gets a bit annoying. If you are half way through the read you'll understand what I'm talking about. It should also be noted that I'm going to keep reading...

I really have to question why I keep reading. I've actually found myself rolling my eyes while reading...which I suppose is a solid reaction though one of slight disgust mingled with total disbelief.

I literally cannot decided if this book intrigues me or creeps me out. The writing is good enough. The characters are very slowly developing. Yet each page that turns I wonder if I want to know what happens enough to keep turning pages. Strangest reaction I may have ever had to a book...

The books is good as all of the series has been. I'm just having a difficult time with the main character being worried about seeking professional help. The thing is any mental health professional is expected to have another mental health professional to talk about cases...to help with emotional turmoil...to offer a support system. The fact that Evelyn Talbot doesn't would be more unlikely and seen as strange.

I absolutely love the writing style of Lisa See. Her books are like a slow melting piece of premium dark chocolate on the tongue. The more you relax and savor the lyrical rhythm the more layers of story unfurl. As strange as it sounds I can't read this book slow enough.

Well, well, well...how things can change. Things are changing and I can't really figure out what direction the story is going. I'm so intrigued and cannot bring myself to put the book down.

I think the book is okay, just not at all what I was expecting. I was thinking thriller not a "50 Shades of Grey" type book. The writing is good, the story flows, however the story subject is disappointing to me.

If I had not pushed myself to read as much as I have I would not finish this book. Too many ideas put into one book...no clear reasoning or even direction. I can't wait for the last page!

This book feels like it is wandering all over the place. I want to believe I will connect with the characters and so I keep reading...it is currently a struggle. Sigh.

The book was a little rough to start however like any good read the story came together all of a sudden. At that point I found myself invested in the main character. I would really just like to keep reading... dumb responsibility.

Oh this is going to be good...might be the start of a very late night or maybe a beautiful sun rise...

I'm reading along when I notice I'm on page 443 and have a mere 54 pages left. The level of my sorrow surprised me. Once again I made friends with the books characters...and already feel a loss. Good books are simply the best.

So far the characters are a bit crazy but in the quirky, fun, and opulent way. Things are going to heat up...and lunacy will have to become involved. This book is an adventure of possible epic outcomes...must turn more pages!

The book is fantastic, but then all of Chevy Stevens works are shades of fantastic! One of the things that stands out is that the author is able to capture the multiple layers of domestic violence. From the easy to ignore behavior to the mental games to the outright violence. What Chevy Stevens does is describe the inner works of the concept of The Circle of Violence... I’m completely addicted!

This book just gets more emotionally complex and the secret is building without much direction to what it might be...sure one can guess, but the mystery builds every chapter.

I had just finished a good thriller...
Then I picked up this book and find myself in a new life and time and place. I have no desire to leave the pages; this is a testament to how good this book is! So it is after 2 am...and I'm going to read a other chapter...or two...or five.

Opened the book and next time I looked up I was starting chapter 10! I do enjoy this author's writing style...I get so pleasantly distracted.

I tried to read this book once before. I found myself struggling through the first 50 pages again. Then behold I doubled the pages and found the rhythm. I can’t wait to start the next chapter!

So far it is a good enough story...excited to see where the pages journey me to.

Really solid ideas and direction. I won’t do everything suggested however I have a clear idea where to start and how to proceed.

A lot of information at first but then it starts to settle and feels less overwhelming. Excited to learn more!

I opened the book and was pulled right in. I love the main character, I’m uneasy about the bittersweet description of high school, and I’m concerned about what happened at a party. All of this makes for a page turner!
