Immmmmm not getting the hype so far. I feel like 30% into the book there should be some inkling of what the main plot is but I feel like I’m at a very slow part of the book. Also, this is definitely just personal, but the inaccurate description of living in Vegas is irking me

I’ve literally had this book for so long and every time I would go to start it, the 800 pages freaked me out 😭 Today I’m conquering my fears lol I hope it’s worth it

I really love the English countryside cottage setting and I relate so much to Edie. The grumpy sunshine is immaculate and I love that Cosima is not a jerk to her because I hate when authors make the grumpy MC mean to the sunshine MC like nooooooooo they’re supposed to be the only one that you like 🙄🙄

I am happy to report she finally stopped being creepy about the children in this book

Anne rice… what the actual hell… Like I don’t understand why there needs to be so many references to kids with that level of detail like I am this close to DNFing this book because it’s too much 😭

Loving the overlap so far, very nice. Every man in this book actually sucks though, WAY more than usual. Not a single redeeming quality in any of the male characters except for Alf at this point lol
