My reading habits outside of school are to a minimum. I have very little free time because of my baseball teams and other school homework. My family does very little reading outside of what they have to. Although I have a tight schedule I do find a way to maintain this 120 pages every two weeks.

The adjectives used to describe Lasorda give me a great understanding of him. Hardworking, charismatic, and loyal were all used to describe him. All of these words give you a positive view in this man. As I read through this book I couldn't find any words that would lead you to be live anything negative about Tommy Lasorda.

The novel, The Thief of Always is a spooky story. It starts out making you think that the situation is great and then slowly you start to realize that this isn't so good after all,"Barker masterfully embroiders this fantasy world with a mounting number of grim, even gruesome details." I totally agree with this review because the word choice and specific details Barker uses, give you a hint of what's really going on.

The ending was great and it set up another book perfectly. The subject I will analize is the Characters. John was kinda an idiot in this book. I like Marina, and I like Nine, excpet he seems like a loose cannon to me. Like he could just explode and kill everything in his path. But then again, he was tortured for over a year, so he has an excuse. I wonder if we'll finally meet Five and Eight in the next book.

The setting can be pretty confusing at times. With number 4 an 6 in the United States, and number 7 in Spain, the story keeps jumping back and forth which makes it pretty hard to keep track. Both settings are kind of spooky in that knowing that the Mogadorians could capture them at any time. Number 6 then turns to Spain and Number 6, 9, and Bernie Cosar head north looking for number 6.

The author, James Frey, goes by a fake name of Pitticus Lore. This man always seems to be in trouble, hence getting arrested on multiple occasions. He has been arrested 14 times for charges such as drug use, drinking and driving, and other criminal activities. Although Frey does not have a good background, it does not stop him from writing great stories.

Henri is killed in Johns arms but he and his friends escape the Mogadorians. John, 6, Sam, and Bernie leave town carful to not get captured be the Mogadorains again. I can connect to this because I love my friends and family and I would not use them behind for anything.

The Mogadorians are closing in on John and Henri, Henri insists that they leave town and change their identity. John will not leave until he knows that Sarah is out of danger. John goes to the school to get Sarah and finds number 6 there to help him in fight between the two planets. The setting does not have a major affect on the plot of the story. You could have a battle between two enemies pretty much anywhere.

John just blew his cover trying to protect Sam. Henri insists they leave because the Magadoeians are on to him. John refuses to leave. The author uses indirect characterization because the author is showing through his actions how John is willing to blow his cover a possibly get killed to protect and stay with his friends.

I am at the part when John goes on the scary ride with Emily, Sarah, and Sam. Sarah, Sam, and Emily all go missing and John knows Mark and his friends are behind it. I can make a connection to this section because i have been annoyed with people and they will not stop trying to agutate me until i give in.
