gonna try to finish this today since the library is coming for my ass

needed something light after torturing myself with depressing horror one after the other.

in the last book by this author i read, I said I wish that I had read it instead of listened to the audiobook and here i am, listening to their other book instead of reading it.

lesbian swan lake is so up my alley

back on my queer horror bullshit. its currently seeming very gothic which i like but I would love some folk eldritch horror with the whole nature vibe or something involving the body, the forest, and rot.

I like how the relationship between nell and fay is mirrored in christopher and theo.

This is fun so far, kind of reminds me of the bottoms movie with the vibes and how funny it is. Nell is such a loser lesbian i love her.

so glad that my wish of seeing ouyang and zhu on the same side has been fulfilled. I love their dynamic so much. Also this book is so much more depressing than the first book in the duology which is pretty shocking since the first book was pretty depressing. That being said, I really like it so far
