I’m always complaining about romances being longer than 350 pages, yet here I am and I haven’t been bored for a second!

I am enjoying this a lot more than my teenage self did. There is something off about the first hundred pages or so. I don’t know how to pin point it, but I’ve been totally into it for a while now.

So far it’s just okay.

I can’t decide if I’m really bored or if I full on hate this book.

I’m still waiting for this book to get good.

Meh.

“You have forgotten the face of your father.”

“He was staring into the doorway, hypnotized, as an aisle of Macy’s rushed forward - he was reminded again of The Shining, where you saw what the little boy was seeing as he rode his trike through the hallways of that haunted hotel.”

I remember this was good, but I forgot just how good!

Ugh. For the millionth time I’m thinking how no romance novel should be over 400 pages. I’m ready for this story to wrap up.

I find both of these characters unlikable.

It’s a given that we all picture Roland as looking like Clint Eastwood, right?

I am LOVING this book.
