Anne Boland is on page 379 of 482 of Sister of Mine (Georgia #1)
Finished. Really enjoyed this book. A very small insight in to the trials and treatment of slaves on cotton plantations before abolition. People can be so cruel to one another.

Anne Boland is starting All the Lasting Things
Finished. Can't quite pinpoint how I felt about this story. Enjoyed it for the most part, but felt unsatisfied by the ending. Too many loose ends.

Anne Boland
Anne Boland is starting The Year of the Runaways
Finished. I enjoyed this book, although the content was pretty bleak at times. Gave an insight in to the trials of what people hope for, and what they have to endure when they come to the UK hoping for a better life.

Forgotten how good this is, but also how much of a marathon.

P100. I love all of David Mitchell's books and I am really enjoying this one. It is instantly more readable than Bone Clocks and much easier to follow.

Anne Boland is finished with Inside the O'Briens
Finished 18th Dec. Loved it as much as Still Alice. Lisa Genova deals with really difficult topics and gives readers an insight in to what it must be like for the characters and their families having to cope with life changing illnesses.

Anne Boland is reading Love Anthony
Finished yesterday. I enjoyed this story. Having worked with a number of autistic children, I thought the storyline was very sympathetically handled. I remember doing a course on autism, and after I had completed it, I was diagnosing everyone with autism. We are definitely all on the spectrum.

Finished this wonderful book yesterday. Absolutely loved it. Harrowing story, yet beautifully written. Friendship and honour in horrific times during the second world war in Penang. Can't wait for another book from Tan Twan Eng.

Anne Boland is reading According to Yes
Finished this book in a couple of days. I wanted to like it, because I like Dawn French, and I enjoyed 'Oh Dear Sylvia', but I didn't like this at all. I didn't find it 'hilarious' as some reviews promised, I found it cringeworthy, and some of it quite distasteful.
