10% in and it's not looking great.😕FMC is very annoying, the book so far is generic and the worldbuilding feels like a mismatched subtitles with bad timing for a movie in a language I never heard before.
The insta-love based on looks alone made me gag.
Anyway maybe it's just me not liking the "I'm not like the other girls, cause I'm a girlboss, walking weapon, badass, most beautiful, but not dainty, y'now?"

This is just mostly grossing me out, which is a shame, I wanted it to be more... thrilling instead. I know I'm only at the very beginning, but it's not that exciting, and definitely not a page-turner.

I wanted to like it but this is so boring.

I'm not loving it as much as I thought I would. :(

Honestly, something feels off about this book. It's probably the style or more like certain choices for words that pull me out of the story. I just don't feel like I'm in Ithaca, Ancient Greece. Moreover this is YA and that feels weird with the setting, I wish this was written in a more NA or just plainly Adult style.

I'm so unimpressed, it's funny even.
