Gripping!

An excellent AC.
Having just read Lucy Worleys biography of AC I read this book with a clearer understanding.

Gave up. So boring

This was my first Angela Marsons novel and consequently my first introduction to Kim Stone. I can safely say it won’t be my last.
The novel is fast paced, a real page turner. The characters are believable. The plot is thought provoking with enough going on to compel you to read “just one more page”. All round an excellent read.

I read this to my children when they were growing up. I found it again in a charity shop ready to read to my grandchildren.
DKS has a delightful story telling knack.

Do not ready this book out of sequence it you'll this it a poor example of a book.

A gentle family story. Quite predictable but a comforting read.

I really enjoyed this book. narrated by Death it follows the growing up of Leisel Meminger, a spirited orphan growing up in a Hitler led Germany during WW2.

An excellent Agatha Christie plot. Kept me guessing till the end. Harry and Anne's relationship was a nice touch which filled the story out. Excellent read.
